My Favorite Music of 2016...So far

There's still many months left of 2016, but I wanted to tell you about my favorite songs so far this year, since there's been so much good music coming out. These are in no particular order. :)

I only liked a few of the songs on Zayn’s album ‘Mind of Mine’ but the ones I did like, I’m obsessed with. My favorites are Pillowtalk (obviously), Like I Would, Wrong ft. Kehlani, She, Fool For You, and Befour. I think that the majority of the songs on this cd, however, don’t showcase his vocal range as well as the songs he sang for One Direction let him. I’m happy that he’s happy doing his own thing now, though.

Next, I’ve been loving Melanie Martinez and her new song ‘Gingerbread Man’ which was released on January 29th. She recently came to my city as a date on her Crybaby Tour and although I wasn’t able to see her, I’d love to go to a concert of hers if she comes back.

I’m obsessed with the new 1975 cd – I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it. Just the title of the cd is good. My favorite songs are Love Me, She’s American, If I Believe You, The Sound, and This Must Be My Dream.

I love the new Ariana Grande songs – Dangerous Woman and Be Alright. I’m so excited for her third cd to come out!

Rihanna’s ANTI album is so good, the first day it came out I listened to it at least 7 times in a row. My favorites are Kiss It Better, Desperado, Woo, Needed Me, Same Old Mistakes, Love On The Brain, Higher, and Close To You.

Perhaps my favorite album so far of 2016, Death of a Bachelor, Panic! At The Disco. I’m seeing him in a few months and I’m so excited! I haven’t even bought the tickets yet..... My favorite songs are Hallelujah, Emperor’s New Clothes, LA Devotee, Death of a Bachelor, and The Good, The Bad, and The Dirty. Also, I really love the music video for Hallelujah because of Brendon’s adorable little dances.

Lastly, I’ve been constantly listening to Sia’s new cd – This is Acting. My favorite songs off this album are Bird Set Free, Move Your Body, Alive, Unstoppable, and Broken Glass.
