Fashion Icons Week - Blake Lively
Blake Lively, actress, philanthropist, style icon, and now mother of daughter James Reynolds and husband of Ryan Reyndols has been one of my favorite people in the world since seeing her as Serena Van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl. I've always admired Blake's class and fashion sense. While Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) might have been my favorite character on Gossip Girl (and one of my favorite singers) I was always very excited to see what Serena would be wearing each week. Some people may not know that Blake is one of the only celebrities that does not have a stylist. That's even more reason to admire her because when you see her beautiful outfits and gowns on red carpets and just walking the streets of New York City, to know that she styled herself like any regular person does everyday, shows how down to earth and normal she really is.

[“It’s such a passion of mine,” she tells PEOPLE. “That’s the reason I don’t have a stylist, not because I think I can do it better than any of these people, but because I just love it so much that it would be like handing over something.” And leave it to Lively to meld two of her favorite worlds: cuisine and couture. “It would be like making a cake and then handing it off to someone else to ice and decorate,” she explains. “Why would you do that?”]

It's so hard to pick a favorite but Blake has her own favorite. She tells People.com that she thinks her favorite look of all time might be the gown she wore to the Cannes Film Festival on May 16th 2014. She says, “It might be my favorite look I’ve ever worn,” she says. “I just love that old school glamour.” (1st picture shown)
