H&M Mini Haul

Earlier this week I was having a difficult day at work and on my break, I was thinking to myself, "What can I do to get through the rest of this day? Something that will motivate me to keep going." And the first thing that came to my mind was: SHOPPING. I spotted H&M while walking to Starbucks and decided to stop in for a while. I wasn't planning on buying more than one item, but as soon as I walked in, it was like tumblr fashion heaven and within minutes I had armfuls of floral printed shirts, jogger pants, and crop tops.

H&M has been one of my favorite brands for quite a long time for many reasons. One reason being that the company has collaborated with many designers such as Karl Lagerfield who designed an exclusive collection for H&M in November 2014, which sold out within an hour in the cities that it was offered. Stella McCartney, well known for her sustainable fashion business, designed a collection in 2005 for the company and in 2007, a collection by Italian designer Robert Cavalli. H&M not only collabs with designers, but with pop icons as well. In March 2007, it launched a collab designed by pop star Madonna and more recently, Beyonce was named the face of H&M in summer 2013.

H&M has also been one of the first companies to make their brand more sustainable by using more renewable energy and the reycling program they have in all of their stores, in which customers can hand in garments that they no longer care for or have no use for and then they take those fabrics and put them back into production and make something new.

I was very excited about the pieces I picked up at my mini H&M shopping spree last week so I will post a few pictures of what I bought and leave a link to H&M's online store.

Thanks for reading!
